Water supply is hidden and happens from below. There is a hole in the bottom plate for that. Use only drinking water approved hose and fittings. It must be possible to disconnect water to avoid frost burst.
The drain is led to at drain or directly into the ground. If it is led into the ground, a biogradable dishwashing detergent must be used.
The steel is delivered with a small oil film and is therefore not rusted upon delivery. We therefore recommend a wash with lukewarm soap water after assembly to remove the oil film. Within a few weeks, depending on precipitation, the rusting process will begin. If you're impatient, the process can be accelerated by washing it once followed by saltwater spray.

Does corten steel rust transfer onto the surface?
Corten steel transfers minimal rust compared to regular steel. However, it will always transfer some rust onto the surface in the beginning of the rusting process. On concrete tiles, rust can easily be removed with oxalic acid.
